What type of timing will be provided?

Timing will be provided by The Appalachian Timing Group using MyLaps BibTag Decoders. Scoring will be provided by Advanced Sports Timing utilizing the RTRT App.

The Top 3 Overall Winners in each race (Male and Female) will be scored on GUN TIMES. All other placements and official results will be scored on NET TIMES. 

Please do not alter or remove your timing tag. The race bibs should be unaltered and not covered by any garment. Check the information on your packet label to make sure it is correct. If not, notify a race official at packet pickup.

What Tracking App is being used in 2025?

Live results/tracking will be available on the RTRT App! More information to come on how to download and setup for race day!

Prior to race day - make sure to do the following:
1. Download the App
2. Search for Marshall University Marathon
3. Search for your participants and save them
4. Enable push notifications to receive race day updates

You will get push notifications as participants hit each split along the course as well as have the ability to follow them on the course map (estimated tracking based on the pace they are keeping).
