What time should I get there? 

Check-in will begin at 12:00 p.m. If you are running and hope to be timed and eligible for the first place/fastest finisher prize, that heat will begin at 12:30 p.m. This will be the only timed heat. Everyone else who wishes to run or walk at their own pace can begin after that! Depending on the size of the groups, we may have staggered start times in 15-minute intervals! 

 

Where is the race route? 

The route is around the eastern tip of the seaport. You will start at Lord Hobo Brewery Seaport and head toward the back of the Innovation and Design Building by the cruise ship port. Loop all the way around the end of the building, turn right onto Tide St, then cross the street to make a left onto Northern Ave. Head down Northern Ave. and turn left at Mr. H Restaurant onto D St. (Be sure to wave to Matt’s old apartment on the corner of D St./Congress St. – Waterside Place 17th floor!) Go over the bridge and turn left on to Summer St. This will lead you back to Lord Hobo Brewery Seaport on Drydock Ave! 

 

What is happening after the race? 

That’s when the party starts! There will be a variety of apps and a cash bar at Lord Hobo Brewery Seaport from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. We will draw raffle prize winners at 2:30 p.m. (must be present to collect your prize)! Come for the race, stay for the food, drinks, prizes, memories, family and friends! 

 

What are the raffle prizes?

We have four prizes representing some of Matt’s favorite things: a Munson’s Chocolate gift basket, a gift card to Sweetgreen, 3 free classes at MyStryde, and a gift card to Ocean Prime. We will be selling raffle tickets 10/$10 (cash or Venmo). All proceeds from raffle tickets go to NETRF!

 

Is there parking? 

Yes! The closest parking garage to our event is Flynn Marine Park Garage at 12 Drydock Ave. There are many parking garages in the Seaport and ample street parking in South Boston. There is no accessible parking, it is recommended to be dropped off on the curb if you have mobility concerns. 

 

I know someone who wants to come but they haven’t signed up yet…

It is really helpful to sign up in advance, so encourage your friends and family to do so! If someone hasn’t signed up on Saturday but wants to run or wants a T-shirt they will need to sign a waiver and pay the $30 fee (we accept cash and venmo).
