Elisabeth (Beth) Ann Melton, age 46, of Saint Albans, West Virginia, entered into the arms of her Lord on January 21, 2026, after a life marked by deep faith, selfless love, and quiet strength.

Elisabeth was born on August 26, 1979, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From the beginning, her life reflected a gentle spirit and a heart devoted to others. As a devoted follower of Christ, Elisabeth sought to live out her faith daily through compassion, humility, and service.

Above all else, Elisabeth cherished her role as a mother. She poured herself fully into loving and guiding her children, always giving them 100%. Her love was patient and steadfast, her presence calming, and her encouragement unwavering. She was a faithful wife, a loving sister, and a treasured friend to so many whose lives were blessed by her presence.

In addition to her devotion to family and faith, Elisabeth served faithfully as a civilian with the 130th Air National Guard. She took great pride in her work and served with integrity, diligence, and humility. Her commitment did not go unnoticed; throughout her career, she was recognized with numerous awards, a reflection of both her professionalism and her willingness to give her best in all she did. She viewed her service not merely as a job, but as another way to serve others with excellence.

Elisabeth will be remembered for her gentle nature, her loving heart, and the way she made others feel seen and valued. Her life was a living testimony of grace, faith, and quiet devotion.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Scott Melton; her mother, Cindy Campbell; her daughters, Abigail and Isabelle; her son, Caleb; her brothers, Dave Campbell and Matt Campbell; her Sister-in-laws, Stephanie Campbell and Andrea Campbell; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Grace, Sarah, Eli, Rein, Eliza, and Ava.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Campbell.

Though her time on earth feels far too short, Elisabeth’s legacy lives on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave so freely, and the faith she carried so graciously. We take comfort in knowing that she now rests in eternal peace, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
