At the heart of the celebration is the Mike Morse Law Firm Meet Your Best Friend Adoption Event, featuring adoptable dogs and cats looking for loving homes. Whether you’ve just crossed the finish line or are joining us for the day, it’s the perfect opportunity to meet your future best friend and support animal welfare in action.
Adoptable animals will be onsite from 9am-2pm in Roosevelt Park as part of TAILGATE! Run. Walk. Adopt.
Owned dogs will have to stay in the larger festival area and cannot enter into the adoption area.
Michigan Humane is excited to partner with local adoption organizations to help even more animals find their forever home. The Mike Morse Law Firm Meet Your Best Friend Adoption Event will feature adoptable animals from Michigan Humane, Friends of Detroit Animal Care & Control, Michigan Animal Rescue League, Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit and Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society.
Adoption fees and policies vary by participating groups. We’ll have a wonderful selection of dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. All adoptable animals are up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed or neutered, ready to join your family the same day.
