lightning or thunder, heavy rain or hail, poor air quality (smoke, wildfire conditions), extreme heat or other unsafe conditions

Q: How will families be notified of weather-related changes?
A: Any changes or cancellations will be communicated as early as possible via email and/or text using the contact information provided during registration. Please check messages before heading to practice when weather is questionable.

Q: What if the weather becomes unsafe during practice?
A: If conditions worsen during a session, coaches will end practice early or move athletes to a safe location until they can be picked up.

Q: Are practices ever held in light rain?
A: Yes. Light rain or cooler conditions may still allow for a shortened or adjusted practice. However, as is standard pactice for outdoor running, lightning automatically cancels or postpones practice.
