Coaches Information - 2026
Dear Coaches and Athletic Directors,
We are hoping that you will participate in the Lion Invitational Cross- Country Meet that will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The format will be similar to last year. We will continue to use an electronic timing system using “B tags” on the running bibs.
Course: Course is 99.9% grass located on the Moravian Academy-Merle Smith Campus on Green Pond Road-1/4 mile east of Northampton Community College.

Middle School Girls’ @ 9:30 am
Middle School Boys’ @ 9:55 pm
Girls’ Varsity @ 10:20 am
Boys’ Varsity @ 10:55 am
Sub-Varsity Boys’ @ 11:30 am
Sub-Varsity Girls’ @ 12:05 pm
Awards ceremony @ 12:40 pm
Entry Fee: AAA Classification- $300
AA Classification- $275
A Classification- $255
The fee covers Varsity Boys and Girls, Sub-Varsity Boys and Girls, and Middle School Boys and Girls.
Make checks payable to “Moravian Academy Athletics”.
Checks should be sent to the Moravian Academy Athletic Office c/o Sue Williams, 4313 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
Awards: First place team trophies for A, AA, and AAA school varsity races
Varsity boys and girls- first 15 overall individual place winners in each race.
Sub-Varsity- first 15 boys and first 15 girls- no team scoring
Middle School- first 15 boys and first 15 girls- no team scoring
Entry: 7 runners in each varsity race and unlimited entry in sub-varsity and middle school races.
Rosters: Coaches will need to enter their roster online.
Please confirm your attendance at the meet and let me know if you will classify as an A, AA or AAA team this year. Please also indicate the races that your team will be competing (Varsity Boys/Girls, Sub-varsity Boys/Girls, and /or Middle School Boys/Girls). Let me know if you have any questions, thanks!
