Yes, you can have someone else pick up your race packet
Pets are welcome to participate.
All pets must be on a leash.
Please clean up after your pet.
The actions of the pet are the responsibility of the pet owner/caretaker.
We anticipate all 5K runners and walkers completing their race within one hour. The 1 Mile Fun Run is scheduled to begin promptly at 9:00 AM, so please ensure you finish your 5K course in time for the next event.

The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged because it can be a distraction. Runner safety is a top priority for our event; please be alert and mindful of race personnel and other participants to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone. Keep in mind that running headphone-free allows opportunities to develop camaraderie with your fellow runners and to enjoy everything the race has to offer. Volunteers and spectators will be on the course cheering you on and providing directions to help get you to the finish line.

Yes, we have race day registration at Homewood Park.
To speed up your packet pickup on race morning, we encourage you to sign up online before you arrive.
Parking will be limited at the Homewood Park parking lot. There is parking at the local churches and street parking.
Please allow extra time to locate parking and walk to Homewood Central Park.
Parking is free
The Start and Finish Line is located on Manhattan Ave. by Homewood Central Park.
All other pre-race and post-race activities will be in Homewood Central Park.
We do not offer gear check at the race.
Yes, there will be a water stop midway, about 1.5 miles on Manhattan St. Just after turning onto Manhattan from Lealand Rd.

The Kids will receive a Kid's medal for the 1 Mile Fun Run
A timing chip is attached to your race bib number. As you move across a special mat at the start line, the chip registers that you’ve started the race. Then, as you cross the finish line, the chip registers that you’ve finished the race. At large races, like the Motherwalk 5K, it may take a few minutes to reach the start line so a timing chip allows us to capture the actual amount of time it takes you to go from the start line to the finish line
If you would like to be added to a team, simply log back into RunSignUp using your User ID and password. From there, you have the ability to change from Individual to Team. Team changes must be made by May 5, 2027. If you have additional questions, please email info@championship-racing.com and include your name and the name of the team you would like to join.
Yes, however, please be aware that our event insurance company requires us to ask all participants using strollers, baby joggers or similar devices to start in the back of the runners and walkers. In an effort to make everyone's race day experience smoother and safer. If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times. This will allow your family members, and our other participants, a safer race experience. Note: We ask that all persons (including children) who participate in the 5K or Fun Run be registered participants. A registered participant has paid the registration fee and a waiver has been signed on their behalf. The only exception would be a baby that remains in a stroller for the duration of the 5K or Fun Run.

Refund / Cancellation Policy:
There are NO refunds of registration fees.
We offer Event Registration Insurance, which can be purchased during the checkout phase of your registration.
We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds; rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to Rumpshaker Inc.
Bib number transfers of registration must be completed online by Week & Half Prior to the race date. Log in to RunSignUp.com with your email/password to transfer to another person.
