Description
Did you know that an average of 22 veterans lose their lives by suicide daily? Help raise awareness of veteran suicide by participating in a 22 lap run/walk around the YMCA park located at 115 CB Crook Drive, Albemarle. Walk every lap or just how many you feel you can do. This Fun Run/Walk is sponsored by VFW Post 2908 Auxiliary.. A portion of the proceeds will support NC Brain Injury Association, a non-profit organization support research for Traumatic Brain Injuries which impacts the lives of many veterans.
Registration fee is $25 and includes a commemorative t-shirt on the event on race day if pre-registered by 10/31/2024. Registrations after 11/01/2024 are not guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt at event, but will be provided one as long as supplies last.
