Hurricane Irma Relief 5K Run/Walk

A little over a week ago, Stanly County runners got together to raise $1,038.00 to aid with the damage left behind by Hurricane Harvey.

It's time to do it again. Hurricane Irma devastated Florida. So many of my family and friends from the Atlantic to the Gulf and the Keys to the Panhandle will be dealing with the aftermath of Irma for quite a while.

Vac & Dash has partnered with the Uwharrie Running Club and American Red Cross to help raise funds for the American Red Cross Hurricane Irma Fund. The Uwharrie Running Club will be accepting donations for the American Red Cross at Saturday's Run The Valley race.

Vac & Dash will host a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday at 6:00 pm at Vac & Dash. If you can not make the run, you can have your own virtual run this week and donate to a wonderful cause.
