Three Peaks Challenge

Join us at Morrow Mountain State Park for the Three Peaks Challenge. This 7-mile hike with over 1200 ft in elevation gain (approx. 400/peak) is for experienced hikers only. The hike will lead you on the Hattaway Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain and finish on top of Morrow Mountain. The hike will begin at 7:30 am and you will have until 12 pm to complete the hike. The hike will begin at Hattaway Mountain trail entrance. Please park in the lower picnic area. There will be water fill up stations , fruit  and first aide available at the museum, Sugarloaf/Morrow Mountain intersection and Shelter A. This hike can be done independently or in three person teams. The three person teams need to provide their own driving accommodations to and from each starting location. A 15-passenger van will be available at the top of Morrow Mountain to bring our challengers back to their vehicles.

1. Hattaway Mountain (Shelter C to Museum) completed by 8:45 am
2. Sugarloaf Mountain (Museum to Morrow Mountain/Sugarloaf intersection) completed by 10:30 am
3. Morrow Mountain (Intersection to shelter A) completed by 12:00 pm

Three Person Teams: 
Hiker 1 begins at Shelter C and ends at Museum (must complete by 8:45 am)
Hiker 2 begins at Museum and ends at Bridle Trail Lot (must complete by 10:30 am)
Hiker 3 begins at Bridle Trail lot and ends at Shelter A (must complete by 12:00 pm)
