Important Update: Annual Watermelon Run Postponed due to Extreme Heat

Dear Watermelon Run Participants,
After careful consideration and in consultation with the staff at Morrow Mountain State Park, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tomorrow's Annual Watermelon Run due to the forecasted extreme heat and the potential risk to participants, volunteers, and staff.
This decision was not made lightly. While we know many of you were looking forward to the event, the safety of everyone involved must come first.
We are already working with Morrow Mountain State Park to identify a new date and will communicate that information as soon as it is confirmed. Your registration will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event, and we'll provide additional options for anyone who is unable to attend the new date.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and support. Thank you for helping us put safety first, and we look forward to seeing you at the Annual Watermelon Run soon.

Get ready for a juicy and refreshing experience as we celebrate Independence Day with our Annual Watermelon Run 5K Run/Walk!
All participants can replenish their energy and stay hydrated with Fresh Watermelon, and as always, delicious freezy pops to cool you down after crossing the finish line!

Start at the Bridle Trail at Morrow Mountain State Park - Run/Walk on the Road to the Top of Morrow Mountain and Run Back to the Bridle Trail.
