On-line Registration closes At 5:00 pm on July 2nd. You can still register on Saturday Morning at the run.
This years run will be on the 4th of July at Vac & Dash. 154 S. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. As always the run is free with options to purchase apparel. Dress in red, white and blue to recieve a Watermelon Run Koozie, while supplies last.
To maximize social distancing, we do not have a set start time. Runners can start anytime between 6:30 am to 8:00 am. Vac & Dash will be open from 6:00 am to Noon on the 4th of July.
Basically, you check in and go. We ask that if you are running with friends, please be aware of other runners on the course and give space on the down and back route. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer available. You can run without a mask. It would be great if you can wear a mask while checking in to run.
Start at Vac & Dash - Left on Main St. - At Market Station, cross the street and take a Right on the Greenway. Follow the Greenway to Salisbury Road. Take a Right on the Carolina Thread Trail. Follow the trail to the end, turn around and reverse your course back to Vac & Dash.
There is no charge for the run. Optional Ladies tank tops ($15.00) and Mens Cool Max short sleeve shirts ($15.00) are available for sale.
