This is a virtual event, so run anywhere between 10/1 - 10/31.
You can print a race bib from your confirmation site. Swag bags can be picked up at the Swansboro Recreation Center after the race concludes beginning on November 1 during regular office hours. Shipping is available for an additional $5.

Q: Where is the run taking place?
A: The run can take place in any location.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: You can go to the website https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Anytown/SwansboroMulletRun
Q: How do I input the information of the mile(s) I have done?
A: When you sign up, you will receive an app link sent to your email to download. You will be able to input your mileage into the app if you do not choose to carry your mobile device while you run.
Q: Can I walk the miles for the run?
A: You can walk or run the mile(s), whichever you prefer.
Q: When does this event take place?
A: You can start running your miles anytime between October 3rd and October 11th
Q: Do I have to run/walk every day when I sign-up?
A: You do not need to run/walk every day when you sign-up
Q: Is this event for all ages?
A: Yes, everyone can sign-up
Q: Do I get a T-shirt for the 5k race?
A: You will receive a T-shirt & medal for registering for the race. Shirts and medals only guaranteed to those registered by September 30. After that date, availability as supplies last.
Q: Do I get a T-shirt for the 1 Mile Fun Run?
A: You will receive a T-shirt for this run, but no medals will be given for the Fun Run. Shirts only guaranteed to those registered by September 30. After that date, availability as supplies last.
Q: When and Where can I pick up my race packet?
A: Race packets can be picked up at the Swansboro Recreation Center on Friday, October 9, 4-7 PM or Saturday, October 10, 10 AM - 3 PM. Shipping is available for an additional $5.
Q: Is there a refund policy if I do not make the time frame?
A: There is no refund for this event.
Q: Do I need the race package?
A: Race packet pickup is optional to pick up and you do not need the race packet to complete the run.
Q: Is this run just for people who live in North Carolina?
A: No, you sign up and complete the race on your own anywhere, even outside of NC.
Q: Is there a donation area for this event?
A: There is an option on the website that will allow you to choose how much you would like to donate.

VIRTUAL RUN
This year, we will be offering a virtual run.
How it Works
Sign up here (use the Sign Up button at the top of the page).
Print out your digital bib (from your Runsignup profile page) if you'd like.
Download the RaceJoy app for the best race experience.
Run your race at a place of your choosing (including a treadmill) before the deadline. If you use RaceJoy, it will automatically submit your results. If not, go to the results page and submit your time.

What is a virtual run?
A virtual race is an event where you sign up and participate on a course of your choosing (or a treadmill). Without physical races going on right now, this is a great opportunity to work towards your running goals, stay healthy and support a great cause, while following social distancing guidelines!
The event will feature a leaderboard so you can still see how you stack up against your fellow competitors!
Where do I run?
You can run at a course of your choosing, including on a treadmill. Be sure to follow current CDC and local guidance and keep 6 feet away from anyone that you run around, or by, to keep as safe as possible.
When do I run?
You can run (or walk) anytime on October 1-11, 2021.
Will this race be timed?
The virtual run will not be officially timed, but by using the RaceJoy app, you can receive a GPS-based time which will automatically submit your time for you. There will be an online leaderboard showing everyone's times.
How do I post my results?
The easiest way is to use RaceJoy during the race! If you choose not to use RaceJoy, then you can visit the results page and click the "Submit Virtual Results" link at the top of the page.
When/how will I get my swag?
Swag will be shipped out directly to your address if you chose the shipping option during registration. Packet pickup is also available September 30 and October 1 at the Recreation department.
