Welcome to The Trivalry!

The Trivalry is a competition between the Triangle’s three rival schools—Duke, NC State, and UNC—where students, alumni, or fans complete a series of unique, creative, and school-spirited challenges to win personal victory and glory for their university—all while raising money for charity!
Each challenge has three versions specific to each school, and are all designed to be able to be done whether you are living on campus, at home for Covid-19, or an alum across the country.
The Trivalry Preseason, an optional week to participate in the event and gain a head start, will begin October 31st.
The Regular Season will begin in Feburary 2021 and last the entire month, culminating in a Championship Week in March.
Benefitting North Carolina Environmental Justice Network (NCEJN)
NCEJN is a grassroots, people of color-led coalition of community organizations and their supporters who work with low income communities and people of color on issues of climate, environmental, racial, and social injustice.
Trivalry Schedule
Preseason week: (Register NOW!)
- October 31 - Nov 7
- 6 challenges
- Teams cap at 4 for all rounds
Regular Season: (registration opens in December)
- February 2021 (month-long)
- 33 challenges, released in portions each week, submissions open all month
- 5 bonus, 7 released each week
Championship week:
3 top-scoring teams from each school + 1 “fan favorite” team participate
