Summer 2024 Marathon Prep Class - Cary

Summer 2024 Marathon Prep Class in Cary is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.

The class is 8 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults get started running or back into a regular running routine prior to our fall marathon training class.  We want to set everyone up for success in marathon training by ensuring everyone has good base mileage going into the fall season.  All levels and paces are welcome!

The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 8 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training, suggested strength training workouts, and Saturday group runs.

Cost of the class is $65. Deadline to register is 6/16.

Cost includes: 8-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group run workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), coach-led Saturday group long runs, and weekly tips and running information from your coach and The Running PTs to supplement your knowledge.

Coach Nilesh Tharval will coach this class.

Program dates: June 9, 2024 - August 3, 2024.  Group training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30AM, and there are group long runs with all summer adult classes on Saturdays at 7:00AM.  The class will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays at Davis Drive Park (1610 Davis Drive, Apex, NC 27523).   Saturday run locations vary weekly and rotate throughout the Triangle area.
