Crystal Coast Beacon of Hope

The Crystal Coast Beacon of Hope 5K originally scheduled for 9/7/19 was cancelled due to the uncertainty of the destruction of Hurricane Dorian. It has been rescheduled for 3/21/20. Below is the updated information.

5K Race and 1 mile fun run benefiting cancer services at Carteret Health Care, presented by Carteret Health Care Cancer Center & Eastern Radiation Oncology. This race is wheelchair accessible.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:

Early bird registration: until 2/20 - $30

2/21-3/19 : $35

Race day: $40

Awards/Categories: Awards for top runners overall, male /female age breakdown 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60+

Course: Run a 5k on the beautiful historic waterfront in downtown Beaufort. The course is wheelchair accessible as well. Following the race enjoy the shops and restaurants. While there, you might catch a glimpse of the wild horses on Carrot Island. Easy, flat course.

Packet Pickup:

Early registration and packet pickup - Friday March 20th 9am-6pm at Carteret Healthcare Rotunda

Packet pick up will be from 6:30am- 7:30am at the registration table at First Citizens parking lot at Turner and Front Street in Beaufort.

1-Mile Fun Run: Not interested in running/walking a 5K? Sign up for a 1-mile fun run. Enjoy a portion of the 5K route along the Beaufort waterfront that is wheelchair accessible. $25 pre-registration fee or $30 on race day.
