Beaufort Rotary Historic Road Race
43 years and still going strong... Join us for a local tradition, the Beaufort Rotary Historic Road Race, 10K/5K/1M race on June 11, 2022 - a family fun event.
UPDATE ON STARTING TIMES: All participants will start according to the schedule below:
7:30 am- 1 Mile Run/Walk
7:55 am- 5K/10K Wheelchair & Baby Jogger participants
8:00 am- 5K Run/10K Run
Individuals- Early registration is encouraged to receive your shirt size requirement. Cut-off date for 365 Performance Zone T-shirts is 5/20
1-Mile: $30– REGISTRATION ON-LINE ONLY – Kids 12 and under run free
5K: $40- REGISTRATION ON-LINE ONLY – Kids 12 and under run free
10K: $45 - REGISTRATION ON-LINE ONLY
Virtual 5K $40- REGISTRATION ON-LINE ONLY The Virtual 5K event will begin June 1st and runs through June 13, 2022. The cost for registration is $40. Registration cost includes one short sleeve t-shirt to be mailed to your home by June 25th.
Wheelchair and Baby Jogger participants are welcome in any of the three events.
The Town of Beaufort offers free parking on race morning until 10:00 a.m. this applies only to public lots, not privately owned lots.
Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday, June 10th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in Beaufort at the Train Depot building, 614 Broad St, Beaufort, NC 28516
Race day packet pickup will in-person on-site "New Location" John Newton Park next to the Dock House from 7:00- 7:30 AM.
This year's race will be timed by Run the East using disposable Bib Tags. Runners must pick up and wear their race bibs during the race. Make sure you do not bend the timing chip on the bib.
Medallions are given to the:
Top 3 overall male & female finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 3 male & female masters finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 2 male & female age group finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 1 male & female wheelchair finishers in the 10K & 5K
Top 1 male & female baby joggers in the 5K
Oldest & youngest finishers in all 3 races
10K- 12 & under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
5K- 12 & under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
1 Mile- 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
