Event 11 in the 2019 AAA Car Care North Carolina Triathlon Series

Distances: S: 750 Meters - B: 15 Miles - R: 5K

The Buckner Mission Man Triathlon has quickly become one of the areas most popular events. Moving into its 13th year, the Buckner Mission Man Triathlon is centrally located in Burlington, NC for easy access and short travel time from almost any spot in the Triangle. Not only that, but the event itself is one not to miss. Nestled into the Lake Cammack Park and Marina, this event offers a mix of many different racing experiences.

Packet Pick-Up

Front Street United Methodist Church, 136 S Fisher Street, Burlington, NC 27215

Race Site:  Lake Cammack Park & Marina - 4790 Union Ridge Road - Burlington, NC 27217

•   Saturday, July 27th (5:45 AM - 7:00 AM) 

Important things to remember :

•   A photo ID is required for packet pick-up.
•   Cash, Check or Credit Card are accepted.
•   All participants must pick up their own race packet. (Including all relay team members)
•   USA Triathlon requires that all USAT members must show their USAT membership card at packet pick-up.
•   Any USAT annual member who does not present his/her valid membership card at packet pick-up,
    will be required to pay the USAT one-day fee of $15. No exceptions.

Participant Meeting:

A participant orientation meeting will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 26th at the race site. We will cover as many details as possible about the race and questions will be encouraged.  This meeting should last about 30 minutes - we encourage everyone to attend.

Charity

This event benefits the mission work of Christ through Front Street United Methodist Church. The following charities benefited from monies raised by the 2012 race:  Alamance Medication Assistance Program, Allied Churches, Harvesters International (Honduras), Loaves and Fishes, Methodist Home for Children, Positive Attitude Youth Center and Wheelchair Ramp Ministry.
