This Run Is Nuts! 5k

Tear through your closet, check that box under your bed, it's Christmas in July so break out that ugly sweater!

The Inaugural This Run Is Nuts! 5k is an event not to be missed! This 5k road race starts and finishes in downtown Burlington, NC on Front Street at Walkerdance Ballet Theatre and Company Shops Market. The 2016 event will be on July 16th and the race starts at 8:00am.

Proceeds from this race support Christmas Cheer of Alamance County and the Arts in Alamance County through Walkerdance Ballet Theatres annual production of The Nutcracker. Each Christmas season during Walkerdance Ballet Theatres production of The Nutcracker, new unwrapped presents are collected for donation and in exchange a discounted ticket to the performance is received. Runners are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to packet pickup. These toys will be donated to Christmas Cheer of Alamance County.

Be sure to come dressed ready to run in your favorite Christmas holiday colors, outfit or costume! The best dressed outfit at the race will be awarded!

Awards for this race will be given for the top 3 overall male and female runners as well as the top 3 male and female runners in each age group; 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Registration is $25 through Sunday, July 3rd 2016. Registration is $30 from Monday, July 4th 2016 until it closes Thursday, July 14th 2016. Race day registration will be available for $35. T-shirts guaranteed for registrations through July 3rd 2016.
