🧟 ZOMBIE 5K RUN: SURVIVE & OUTRUN!
The Mission: Teams of five (5) personnel will navigate a pre-marked 5K course while attempting to outrun the undead!

At the starting line, each runner will be issued a flag belt equipped with three (3) “life flags,” positioned at the hips.

The Challenge: Zombies will be stationed along the course, attempting to steal runners’ life flags. Be ready to spin, dodge, and sprint to evade the undead while protecting your flags and helping your team survive!

⚠️ Safety Rules: No physical contact is permitted. Pushing, tackling, stiff-arming, or any other form of physical contact is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.

🏆 Scoring & Prizes

The competition is based on both speed and survival! The top two (2) teams with the highest cumulative number of life flags remaining at the finish line will be declared the winners. In the event of a tie, the team with the fastest overall completion time will prevail.

Winners will receive Command-approved incentives!

💰 Team Entry Fee: $50. Payment to HM1 Yarbrough (ashley.l.yarbrough.mil@usmc.mil) is due by October 28, 2026, via cash or Navy Federal (NavyFed).

That’s only $10 per runner! 100% of the proceeds will go toward the Battalion First Class Petty Officers Association (BN FCPOA) to support and fund future command events.

Your registration includes lunch back at the barracks (FC-571), provided by the SCPOA.
