To ensure as much of the money raised goes to our local COVID-19 heroes and businesses, there will be no participation swag offered for participants in this event.

Proceeds support COVID-19 heroes in the form of gift cards/certificates to local businesses such as restaurants and other businesses struggling to keep their doors open during the pandemic. This benefits the community two-fold by using funds raised to purchase gift cards/certificates from local businesses and gifting them to our local COVID-19 heroes such as Carteret Health Care Employees, First Responders, Grocery workers, and other front line workers.

Thank you for your compassion and support for these heroes, front line workers, and local businesses in these trying times. We are all getting through this the best we can, we might as well do some good along the way. We look forward to seeing your running selfies on our social media and hope to see you on in June dressed up as a hero!
