Description
The Festival D’Avion Runway 5K is a unique run held at the Moore County Airport in the conjunction with the 5th Annual Festival D’Avion. The run route will include the airport grounds, tarmac and taxiways. *Includes two tickets to the Festival D’Avion Concert and Airshow on October 28, 2023.
The Festival D’Avion is a celebration of Freedom and Flight and honors the men and women that have served in the armed forces. The 1½ day event, hosted at the Moore County Airport, includes special aircraft exhibits, scheduled aircraft fly-overs, Warbird displays, precision jump team exhibitions, programmed entertainment and a special scheduled fly-out of all participating aircraft. The five branches of the military have approved participation for the Festival D’Avion and will provide a variety of static aircraft and military equipment displays. Classic cars and trucks will also be displayed during the event. A variety of food and beverage options will be available from area and regional food trucks, craft beer breweries, North Carolina wineries and vendors.

Note: The Festival D’Avion will be held at the Moore County Airport on Saturday, October 28, 2023. 5K participants will receive two tickets to the the event. Day of race registrants will not receive any discounts on the Runway 5K fee.
Packet Pickup
Packet pick-up (including the Festival D’Avion Ticket) will be Friday, October 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Pace Yourself Run Co. 205 NE Broad St, Southern Pines, NC 28387
Event Awards
Trophies will be awarded for the top 1st overall male & female winner. Medals will be awarded for the top male and female winners in each age category. In addition, two tickets per participant will be provided to the Festival D'Avion on October 28, 2023.

Refund Policy
This event will be held rain or shine. Refunds are not allowed for this race!
