Description
The Amberly Master Property Owners Association (POA) is hosting the third annual Amberly Search for a Cure 5K on Saturday, September 21, 2013. The 2011 and 2012 Amberly Search for a Cure 5Ks raised over $7,700.00 for CureSearch for Children’s Cancer and we are hopeful that we can raise even more this year!
The event will feature a 5K race beginning at the Amberly Residents’ Club and continuing through some of Amberly’s beautiful neighborhoods. Following the race, there will be an awards ceremony along with lite food and drink at the Amberly Residents’ Club. This event will once again benefit the children’s charity CureSearch for Children’s Cancer (CureSearch.org).
The Course
The course is a beautiful tour of the Amberly neighborhoods, featuring newly-built sections of the area that were not on the course last year. The course is USATF-certified for the 5K distance, so if you PR, you'll know it's a legitimate time.
