Fall 2023 Kids 5K - Cary

Fall 2023 Kids 5K training in Cary is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. 

Class is 8 weeks long, meeting once per week, and is geared toward kids aged 8-14 years old.  The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work their run endurance up to running a 5K at the end of the season.  ALL levels & paces are welcome!  Kids will be grouped in smaller pace groups after a timed mile so they can train with similar paces. Class will be capped at 30 registrants.

Cost of the class is $60.

Cost includes: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, and a training shirt.

Discount Codes: Be sure to use your referral discount codes (if you've referred new runners to our training programs, you'll have received an email with a code). This code is NOT to be shared with others and if shared it will forfeit your right to use the code and you will not receive referral discounts in the future.

If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us.  We have a donation program that can help out.

Coaches Patti Tiernan & Tara Wind will co-coach this class.

Program dates: August 15, 2023 - October 3, 2023.  1 class per week: Tuesdays 6-7pm.  The class will meet at New Hope Church Trailhead Park in Cary (2575 New Hope Church Road, Cary, NC 27519).
