Fall 2024 Kids 5K - Cary

Fall 2024 Kids 5K training in Cary is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. 

Class is 8 weeks long, meeting once per week, and is geared toward kids aged 8-14 years old.  The goal of the class is to have fun, get healthy, and work their run endurance up to running a 5K at the end of the season.  ALL levels & paces are welcome!  Kids will be grouped in smaller pace groups after a timed mile so they can train with similar paces. Class will be capped at 30 registrants.

Cost of the class is $65.

Cost includes: 8 weeks of 1 coached workout per week, a season training plan with suggested workouts on non-class days as well, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), educational information coordinated by The Running PTs, and a training shirt.

If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us.  We have a donation program that can help out.

Coaches Patti Tiernan & Tara Wind will co-coach this class.

Program dates: August 27, 2024 - October 15, 2024.  1 class per week: Tuesdays 6-7pm in August & September; 5:30-6:30pm in October.  The class will meet at New Hope Church Trailhead Park in Cary (2575 New Hope Church Road, Cary, NC 27519).
