Supporting the Wake County SPCA

Back by popular demand, its nearly time to greet the New Year with with a big mug of hot chocolate! And this year its going to be even bigger and better. The past three years we've given you the choice of a 5K or 1 Mile race, and we've been capped at 500 people. Well, good news. The 2017 F&A Doggie Dash is moving to WakeMed Soccer Park (but its not the old boring course), adding a 10K, a separate Doggie Dash 2.5K, and raising the number of people we can have run!

What's not changing is that everyone who finishes the race gets a great mug, all the hot chocolate they can drink, and proceeds from the doggie dash go to support the Wake County SPCA.

The F&A Doggie Dash is also the first race of Fit & Able's new Free-for-All Race Series.

Invite your friends, pick your race, and start craving hot chocolate!

Fit & Able loves family fitness and whose four-legged furry friend isn't part of the family? Dog owners are welcome to run with their pups in the Doggie Dash! For only $5 per pup it will be happy trails for both runners and their dogs. AND, the full $5 goes to support the Wake County SPCA! Only one dog per registered runner and you must register your dog for them to run with you. RRCA Rules: Dogs are not allowed in the 5K, 10K, or 1 Mile Races; children 12 & under are not allowed in the Doggie Dash 2.5K. The race will be more fun with the whole family there and you'll be supporting a great organization in our community!
