I Will Walk By Faith: A GSUCC Playground Fundraiser!

It's a virtual walk to help raise funds for a new playground at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ in Cary, North Carolina!

Join the children of GSUCC as we walk together to raise funds for a new playground! Choose your distance from 1 mile, 5k, or 10k and commit to walking your mile(s) throughout the second half of May 2021. Walk where and when you want, and cover your miles all at once or in segments. On Saturday June 5 at 5pm, we will meet in the church parking lot to walk our last half mile together around the block, reconvening at the church after for parking lot fellowship!

New to Virtual Walking? Here's How it Works:

Step 1: Get psyched, grab friends and family to join you, and sign up right here!

Step 2: Grab your water and your COVID-safe crew, and get out there! You can walk (or run if you prefer) at the park, along your favorite route, anywhere you like. Please be sure to social distance and follow all traffic rules!

Step 3: Share your distance, a selfie, or a picture of your crew on the Good Shepherd Facebook page.

Step 4: Wear a GSUCC tee shirt or your favorite red shirt and join us on June 5 at 5pm for our final half mile!
