Packet pick up: We will be having packet pickup on Thursday October 20th from 4-7pm and Friday October 21st from 12-2pm at Fleet Feet in Morrisville (3027 Village Market Place, Morrisville, NC 27560).
Introducing the Fourth Annual Say BOO to Cancer 5K Run/Walk. This timed race takes place on the popular WakeMed Soccer Park cross country course. Proceeds from this timed 5K will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The race starts at 9:30 am, and packet pick up is available from 7:30am to 8:45am at the race site. Packet pickup will also be available the Thursday and Friday before the race.
Given that this is a cross country course, strollers are not advised. There will be one water stop available on the course. The course is mostly packed dirt and has a few rolling hills, and is very popular with local runners!
Runners of all ages are welcome, however runners aged 10 or under must run with a parent who is also registered. Costumes are welcome and encouraged for both participants and spectators!
Fees for Race: $30 until midnight on June 30, $35 until registration closes online October 18. Registration is also available at packet pickup and the morning of the race and is $40. Children aged 10 and under can be registered for the 5K for $25, which will be calculated automatically during registration. There is no early pricing for this option. The deadline for a guaranteed t-shirt and size for all entrants is October 5. Extra shirts will be ordered and some shirts may be available at the event for late registrations but sizes are not guaranteed. Additional shirts may be available for purchase for $10 each.
*NEW FOR 2016* We are now offering a half mile kids fun run at 9am! Pricing for the fun run is $20 and includes a shirt and a medal! Parents please note- we cannot offer child care for children who run the fun run then have parents running the 5K.
We are offering a virtual option for participants who won't be able to join us on race day but still want to be a part of the fun. Virtual registration includes a bib and a medal. Shirts are not included but can be purchased for $10 each. Virtual bibs, medals, and shirts will be mailed closer to race day when they come in from our supplier. Registration for the virtual event is $20 from June 15 until June 30, then $25 until registration closes on October 18.
Packet pickup locations and times for Thursday and Friday will be announced closer to the race.
