Description
Join us for a Virtual Le Tour de Carrboro! The remaining races in the series – the Carrboro 10K and Gallop & Gorge 8K will both be held virtually this year. We know that in this time of uncertainty, running has been such a help – mentally and physically! While we are not able to host the fun, and community-driven in-person runs, we want to keep the spirit and vision of the Tour going for 2020!
At this time, you have three options to register:
- Complete the Tour – includes registration for the Carrboro 10K and Gallop & Gorge 8K (for those who’ve already completed the Four on the Fourth run in July). Finish all three races and submit your results to receive a 2020 Tour Finisher Long Sleeve Tech Shirt!
- Start the Tour – includes registration for Four on the Fourth, Carrboro 10K and Gallop & Gorge 8K (complete Four on the Fourth anytime between now and Thanksgiving). Finish all three races and submit your results to receive a 2020 Tour Finisher Long Sleeve Tech Shirt!
- Carrboro 10K – includes registration for the Carrboro 10K Virtual Run. Run or walk a 10K anytime on October 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
**Following the Virtual 10K, we will offer registration into the Gallop & Gorge 8K as well as an opportunity to register for all three virtual races**
The benefit of this series being virtual you get to pick what day, what time, and where you complete your virtual race. To have the race counted towards your completion of the Tour, you will need to submit your results through RunSignUp.
Registration is going directly towards supporting our community partners. Without the overhead costs of putting on a race we can directly support these non-profits while also ensuring the first race in the series goes on!
Our races support 6 non-profit partners who help make a difference in our communities by providing access to healthy food, mental and health services, rehabilitation, and more! Just last year we were able to donate $56,000 to our community partners, and since the Tour’s inception we have donated over $548,000. We’re excited to continue that tradition into 2020, albeit virtually! Thank you for your support and patience!
While the race this year is virtual, if you are interested in the Carrboro 10K Course route here is a map.
