BunnY Run 5K Runners:
Regrettably, yet for the public's safety, the BYU Alumni-Charlotte NC Chapter has decided to re-schedule the 5K run, and 1K Bunny Hop to Aril 16, 2022. We hope you can still join us on April 16, 2022. If you are unable to be in the actual run, please sign up for the virtual run, and run the 5K anytime.
With these uncertain times regarding COVID-19, we hope you and your family are safe and healthy.
BYU Alumni Charlotte Chapter
The Charlotte, NC Chapter of BYU Alumni is sponsoring a 5K event featuring a 1K run/walk for children, and a 5K for adults. The proceeds of this event will support individuals seeking a college education. Runners are asked to bring requested donated supplies to support A Child's Place, a local nonprofit organization supporting kids in poverty succeed in school.
The following are requested items runners may bring to the race to donate to A Child's Place (ONLY NEW ITEMS PLEASE): Adult & youth size uniforms (khaki or navy bottoms; white, navy, light blue polo shirts), boys and girls closed-toe shoes (adult and youth sizes), bar soap, deodorant, African American hair products (name brands Motions, Olive Oil, Creme of Nature), queen & twin size air mattresses and sheets, laundry detergent pods, luggage, duffel bags, $30 gift cards to Walmart or Food Lion, movie ticket gift cards, headphones (larger size), footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, hula hoops, jump ropes, jewelry kits, art kits.
