Description

#Covid19Miler #RunnersTogether.

It looks like the 2nd wave is coming and some of us are still stuck in phase 2.  Welcome to the CoVID-19 Miler 2.0!

With over 3700 registered participants in the first COVID 19 Miler and $58,000+ raised for PPE, you asked us to launch another one.  Here we go!!!  We would like to challenge you to run/walk/hike/bike the COVID-19 Miler to help raise money for our healthcare workers through Direct Relief and to help Feed America.  Both charity options will allocate their funds and supplies in the places in America with the most need.  Now we have multiple options to challenge you.  From kids and beginners, to the hardcore, and build teams to crush it.

All participants will receive the choice of a soft-style shirt or women's tank top, a race bib, and a buff (which can be used as a mask).  It looks like masks may now be required in most places so we are going to help you out and get you one.

4 Challenges to choose from:

  1. The Original COVID 19 Miler - complete 19 miles in one week.  You can take as many days as you want and do whatever activity you want...just make sure it's 19 miles.
  2. One Week Team Challenge - complete 19 miles per day for a week (133 Miles total).  You can do whatever activity or combination of activities as a team/group.  You have one week to finish all 131 miles (19 miles a day on average).
  3. Beginners Challenge - designed for beginners or COVID 19 Survivors.  You can do 1 mile a day for 19 days by doing whatever activity you desire.
  4. The Ultra-Team Challenge - complete 361 Miles in 19 days.  Average 19 miles a day for 19 days as a team doing any activity or a combination of activities.

We want you to stay healthy, keep moving, and of course have fun all while raising awareness and money for some great beneficiaries.
