McAlpine Park 5K

The McAlpine Park 5K is our third Charlotte "PopUp race" that brings back real, in-person, chip-timed races designed to get us ALL  back to racing. Everything happens in McAlpine Creek Park and  Greenway.

Your results will be emailed and/or texted to you immediately if you signed up for that option. Your actual race placement will be available online later in the day once all participants have completed the course and we have done all the adjustments and scoring.

Each race will meet or exceed all local, state, and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Currently, no more than 45 runners on-site at any time and at least 6 feet social distancing during any wait times. Runners will have a designated "rolling wave" start window. You will show up, receive your bib and start within your rolling wave window as soon as you are ready. Once you are done, you will have cold bottled water available and then you will head off for the rest of your day!

Runners are highly recommended to bring their own hydration as there will be no on-course water stops. We will have bottled water at the finish.
