TIME for a Run

TIME for a Run - Update:

First of all, thank you so much for showing your support and registering for TIME for a Run!  We were just informed by Mecklenburg County that they are canceling all special events (including races) for the next 30 days.  So unfortunately we will not be able to have the race.  If you have registered already, we are still trying to make this race work and have come up with an idea that we hope you will participate in.  If you would like to still have fun with this, we are asking that on the 29th you go out and run, walk or crawl a 5k on your own in your neighborhood, treadmill or favorite running spot.  If you would like to do this, feel free to send a picture and your time back to this email address and we'll add them to the race site!

We are disappointed that this is not going to happen the way that Dase has planned it but we know that God's plan is perfect and we continue to place our trust and hope in Him!

This race is organized by a middle school girl who has a heart for running and missions.  She is putting her passions together to help TIME Ministries begin a youth missionary training program.  She has been on mission trips to the Dominican twice to build two churches for local pastors and she is looking forward to going again this summer!

This 5k will raise support to help impact, train and reach Dominican youth to go and share the Gospel!  The funds raised will help cover housing, food, transportation and project.  During this five day missionary experience at TIME Ministries they will learn what it takes to become a missionary by training first in their own country.

Race T-Shirts and medals will be provided.  T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations on or before 3/10/20.  Medals are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants.

Packet pickup will begin at 1:30 on the day of the race.
