The Great Pumpkin 5K Trail Run

Enjoy the best November has to offer runners in this fall-themed race celebrating the season of perfect running weather, pumpkins, colorful leaves and good friends as you run through gently rolling, well maintained, cross country trails. The Great Pumpkin 5K Trail Run benefits GO FAR (Go Out For A Run), a North Carolina-based non profit organization that provides an 8-week after-school curriculum to help coaches train children for a 5K while educating them on fitness, nutrition, and character development. GO FAR will receive 100% of proceeds. 

• Parking located at Wesleyan Christian Academy athletics campus.
• Bib pickup will be morning of the race. Stop by the medical tent to have your temperature checked and then head over to pick up your race bib. You will not be permitted to run in the race if you have not had your temperature taken or if it is not in the normal range.  After picking up your bib, you will be directed to your assigned corral to wait for your starting time, or you may choose to wait in your vehicle. Corrals will be socially distanced groups of 50 or less runners. 
• All finishers will receive a finisher's medal from GO FAR and a neck gaiter, courtesy of Novant Health.
• Prizes will be awarded to overall winners.
• Race is rain or shine. Registrations will be capped at 250, so register early!
• Disposable masks will be provided upon arrival, worn until runners begin the race, and gaiters will be provided upon finishing the race.
• Runners will be sent out in waves of 50 or less to meet the governor's current guidelines. In the event restrictions change resulting in the cancellation of this race, the race will become a virtual event, runners can pick up medals and neck-gaiters, and no refunds will be given. 
• NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED
• Entrance gate will be closed at 8:20 am to prevent cars from entering portions of the course where runners cross.
