LKN Fall Beer Festival & 5K Run/Walk

The LKN Fall Beer Festival & 5k Run/Walk is here!!  The event is presented by Cornelius Draft House and CREE Cares nonprofit. The race is one of our major fundraisers for the year.  Our goal for 2025 is to put 250 kids into sports that are currently sponsored by Bags of Hope here in Lake Norman.  Our financial goal is to raise $50k for 2025.  That will get 250 kiddos playing sports that are currently not involved.  Please share this event in order to assist in hitting our mission!!  Also, please save the date for our nonprofits Ugly Sweater event December 8th.  https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Cornelius/CarolinaUglySweaterRun  Use promo code ugly30.

There will be no early race pickup.  Registration will start at 115 until 215.  The run/walk starts at 230.

Dont miss the event!!  You dont have to walk or run the 5k in order to come out and have fun!  There will be live music, several local breweries (See below for a list), food trucks, 50+ local vendors and simply lots of fun for the entire family!!  The event is Run/Walk and 100% pet friendly!!  Feel free to do the 5k with a stroller!!  We are always kiddo/pet friendly.

If you do 5k events regularly or you have been wanting to do one this is it!!  Each 21 year + participant will receive a complimentary coupon for a draft beer and if you are under 21 NO BIG DEAL..... you will get a free funnel cake from one of our local vendors.  If you dont want either than you will have the option to use your coupon as a $5 coupon with a local vendor. Top 10 male and female winners will receive $50 in vouchers to spend with local vendors.  Top 3 male/female finishers will get a beer festival trophy.  Overall top finisher with a stroller will receive a trophy!!
