Description
The Battle of the Blues 5K Fundraiser and 1 mile walk takes place on the American Tobacco Trail at CM Herndon Park in Durham. It benefits the family advisory groups for the Newborn Intesive Care Units at Duke Children's and UNC Children's Hospitals. Race for your NICU baby or in memory of a loved one and raise money for a good cause!
The advisory groups are raising money to support the families that currently have a baby in the NICU. They provide meals for families; offer input and feedback on policies and procedures to doctors, nurses and support staff; host special events on holidays; provide supplies and gifts; and so much more!
If you've had a baby in the NICU or know someone who has, this event is for you! Join us for the 5K face or the 1 mile fun walk where strollers are welcome.
