Description
Come take a break from cheering on Duke basketball and join us on Sunday, March 20th for "DPT Madness," the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy 5k to benefit the VCU Marquette Challenge. Participate to show your support. The race will be held on the beautiful and flat Duke East Campus Loop, which is sure to produce some fast finishing times! All are welcome to attend.
You can either register as an individual or come compete with friends and family against other teams! Teams of 5-7 people will be scored using cross country scoring. Prizes will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers as well as the top team.
Food and raffle prizes will be available on race day. Be sure to register by March 2nd to guarantee a free dri-fit shirt!

Course Description
Begin on the lawn at Main St and Campus Dr, proceed towards Buchanan Blvd, around the wall until you reach Campus Dr, at East campus bridge. At this point you will turn and go back the way you came. You will end where you began on the lawn at Campus Drive and Main St.
This 5k course is on a mix of gravel, dirt, and grass, with inclines and driveway crossings. There are segments of uneven terrain due to tree roots, ruts in the dirt, and varying sized gravel.
Race Day Information
Bathrooms are available in the East Campus Union building.
Parking can be found for free at either of the below East Campus lots.
- Epworth Lot:
- Driving entrance at N Buchanan Blvd. and Epworth Dorm Ln.
- Bassett Brown Lot:
- Driving entrance at N Buchanan Blvd. and E. Campus Union Dr.
