Description
Please join us for the 3rd annual Jodi 5K Run & Walk presented by Urban Durham Realty to benefit the Lung Cancer Initiative!
This is a community event remembering Jodi Lynn Koviach who died from lung cancer in October 2021. Jodi loved running and even more the community and camaraderie it provides. There is no better way to honor her memory than by having this run, which symbolizes so much of what she valued AND supports a great cause!
The race is a chip-timed 5K run or walk with finisher's awards, t-shirts, and post-race food and refreshments.
Pre-race packet pickup will be available on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Bull City Running - Downtown from 2:30-5:30pm.
Race day packet pickup will be available on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Forest Hills Park pavilion from 7:00-8:00am.
**There also is virtual option for those of you who are out of town and would like to support this event**

This 5K course offers a rolling view of Forest Hills Park, the surrounding Forest Hills Neighborhood, and an out-and-back section of the American Tobacco Trail. The Start & Finish line is located within Forest Hills Park. Limited parking is available at the park. Additional parking is available in the Compare Foods parking lot, a short walk up the road from the park, and on-street parking is available in the residential areas surrounding the park.
