Description

Durham Audio Company offers Job Training through Audio Education Institute for Underserved Youth.

Hosting a community walk/run to raise funds for the program.

A Durham based music company, Audio Rule Sound Design, sees the impact the lack of jobs is having on our country. There has been a trend of more young people being incarcerated for reasons such as joining gangs and committing robberies which likely ties directly to there not being enough constructive activity for certain youth.

The company opened an Audio Education Institute where young people could receive music training from some of the Nation’s best musicians. The institute is celebrating it’s first graduating class and incoming class with a community One (1) Mile Walk/Run being held on April 27, 2013. The run will take place starting at North Carolina Central University to Goldenbelt, Downtown Durham.

Quinton White is the Institute’s Star Student coming out of high school in some tough situations and being accepted to one of the nation’s greatest recording arts schools. Quinton will be there along with the 2013 incoming class. The institute looks forward to working with some of Durham’s great musicians who are just starting out and helping them to take their art to the next level. Students from the new class will be performing at race end.
