Our race route is an out-and-back on the American Tobacco Trail, starting from the American Tobacco Historic District.

Your registration includes a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt for everyone who registers by September 15 and supports our vital public service. 

For 50 years, WUNC has provided news and information that helps you learn, understand and engage with your community and the wider world. The 5K event kicks off our free, 50th Anniversary Celebration at the American Tobacco Campus, featuring conversations and meet-and-greet opportunities with your favorite program and podcast hosts, a mini museum, live DJs, family fun, and more until 2 p.m.

There will be free parking at the North and South Decks of the American Tobacco Historic District.
