Wak in Their Shoes

Open Table MInistry's 15th annual Walk in Their Shoes 5K Walk and Fun Run will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Southern Boundaries Park in Durham (100 3rd Fork Rd, Durham NC 27707). Walk in Their Shoes is a self-timed out-and-back 5K walk or run along the beautiful Third Fork Creek Trail. There will be prizes for the first male and female finishers, and a chance for all in-person participants to win one of our door prizes.

Registration is FREE - however, donations are welcome and registering at the $45 level or more entitles you to one free race T-shirt and a swag bag full of great running-related goodies! On-site registration, t-shirt pickup, and other festivities begin at 9:00am. Event kicks off at 10am. All in-person participants are eligible for our door prizes! 

What does this event support? Open Table Ministry is a registered Durham nonprofit organization that supports our neighbors experiencing homelessness by providing basic necessities like emergency shelter, food and clothing, and offering compassionate care and support throughout the housing and job navigation process. All donations are tax-deductible and will benefit Durham's homeless community.
