Updated 6/2/20 - Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Kids and Cops 5K Glow Run. We thank you all for your continued support of our program. We are already looking forward to our 2021 5k.
After much consideration, we have decided to postpone the 8th Annual Kids and Cops 5K Glow Run and Fun Run. We will announce a new date soon. Please stay tuned!

Description
Glow It Up for Kids & Cops!! Join us for the 8th Annual Kids & Cops Glow Run 5K in beautiful Edenton, NC! The race is organized by Chowan County 4-H & the Chowan County Sheriff's Office. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chowan County Kids & Cops Program.
COURSE
The 5K route is an out and back, flat road course starting at Queen Anne Park and running through Historic Hayes Plantation.
AWARDS
Top 1 overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
PACKET PICK-UP
Packets may be picked up race day at the registration table beginning at 6:30 pm.
RESULTS
Electronic chip timing services will be provided by Run the East, LLC.

Queen Anne Park is located at 214 E. Water Street, Edenton, NC 27932. Specific directions to the park are available at www.mapquest.com.
HOSPITALITY
Drinks and refreshments will be available after the race at the hospitality tent for race participants only.

Through 4/16/20 - $30 includes t-shirt and glow swag.
After 4/16/20 - $30 glow swag is included but NO shirt.
KIDS 16 & under -
Through 4/16/20 - $25 includes t-shirt and glow swag.
After 4/16/20 - $25 glow swag is included but NO shirt.
***T-shirts will be available the day of the race for $10 each, first come first serve basis.
The Kids & Cops Program was formed in 2012 as a collaborative effort between Chowan County 4-H, the Chowan County Sheriff's Office, and local law enforcement agencies. The mission is to build positive relationships between youth and law enforcement officers. By spending quality time with the youth, officers hope to make themselves more approachable and reduce juvenile crime.
