New Date: Postponed until a later date we will provide a date as soon as we have one.
In order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, Governor Roy Cooper has notified businesses, churches, and nonprofits in North Carolina that we need to cancel or postpone gatherings of more than 100 people at this time, and this includes the Habitat Hammer. Due to circumstances beyond our control the Habitat Hammer Race has been postponed until a later date. We will announce the date when we have more information. The postponed date will depend on when the race is safe to be held. We appreciate you understanding and patience during this difficult time of uncertainty. Your Race registration and payment will be good for the next race date. Again Thank you for your understanding and your support of Habitat for Humanity.
10 Years' Running! Coming to the rolling hills of beautiful Elkin in the heart of the Yadkin Valley, it's the 10th annual Habitat Hammer 5K/10K! The 5k course loops through the historic downtown area; the 10K adds a section of the Elkin Valley Trails Association's magnificent trail alongside the Big Elkin Creek.
The Habitat Hammer is a fundraiser of Upper Yadkin Valley Habitat for Humanity. Help us help Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
