Welcome to Fayetteville's newest running event!
Runners wanted a longer event locally and here you go! This race will have three options: a 10k, a Half Marathon, and a River Rage Challenge where you can run both! Both races will feature different routes and use the Cape Fear River Trail. The start and finish will be at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden. There will be on course support. Each route will pass under a train trestle or two. Runners will have access to the Gardens too!
There will be no pets allowed at this event.

Want to be a VIP? Skip the longer lines? Want access to the VIP only heated tent at the start line? Store your gear while you run? VIP only snacks? Then the VIP add-on is for YOU!! Limited entrants!!
Finisher Medals
Get to the finish and collect your 10k, Half Marathon or the coveted and limited River Rage Double!! Yes, there is a double race option!! Will you be a River Rager?!
The Course.
The 10k has an aid station at the turnaround point (2.83 miles). Cutoff is 830AM That is a 14:29 min mile pace.
The Half Marathon on the Cape Fear River Trail. Aid at Clark Park (3.1 &10.37 miles) & turn around point (6.78 miles). Cutoff is 1130AM. 14:52 min mile pace.
Want the extra challenge of the River Rage? You get to do both races!

- 12-4pm Packet Pickup at Gaston Brewing Taproom - 421 Chicago Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28306
Sun 10 Nov:
- 6am Packet Pick up opens - Closes at 8am.
- 7am 10k and River Rage Starts.
- 815am Half Marathon Starts.
- 1130am Course closes.
