Wayne County Humane Society Fun Run by Chick-fil-A

Race Description/Details:
I am a senior at Wayne Early Middle College High School. I have chosen to do my senior project on abused and neglected animals. I felt that a 5k fun run was an opportunity for me to actively help the Wayne County Humane Society in my city to save as many animals as possible. This race is a chance to bring your friendly, household pets out into the community to help raise funds and awareness for spaying, neutering, and adoption. The Wayne County Humane Society Fun Run By Chick-fil-A will be held at the Corner Stone Commons in Downtown Goldsboro on November 17, 2018. Registration for participants that did not register online will begin at 7am and the race will begin at 8am.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
$25 
Can register up until November 15th, 2018

Same day registration will begin at 7am and will cost $30

Awards/Categories:
Awards will only be given for the 5k not the fun run, and will be divided by male and female.
There will be one overall female and one overall male. There will be one female and male winner per age group. Age groups go as follows:
15-18
19-24
25-29
30-45
46-above

Course:
Racers will start on Walnut street, will turn left on Jefferson street, will turn left on Mulberry, and will finish on Center street. This is a USATF-Certified course.
