Flying Frog Adventure Race

Flying Frog Adventure Race is the premire adventure race in the Triad! Racers compete on a course that includes paddling, mountain biking and trail running. The exact distance and order remain a secret until race day.  Last year's race was a success with a total of 81 racers covering 45 miles along two courses on Greensboro's finest trails and lakes.

Course
A short and long course will be available, but the course will remain "top secret" until the day of the race.

The Short Course is offered for new participants interested in trying the sport of adventure racing. The course takes 2-4 hours and includes a 1-2 mile paddle, 7-10 mile mountain bike, and 2-5 mile run.

The Long Course is for more experienced racers who want a challenge. This course takes 4-6 hours and includes a 2-5 mile paddle, 10-20 mile mountain bike, and 6-10 mile run.

Both the short and long courses require basic navigation through our trail system. The course will be marked for racers. Along the courses there will be a series of check-points and obstacles that are kept secret until racers approach them. The exact order, distance, and route of the race will be revealed on race day.
