Picture LP Frans field, home of the Hickory Fighting Crawdads AAA baseball team, with vibrant tutus, the rhythmic cadence of combat boots, and the joyous laughter of a community coming together for a meaningful cause.

Families, friends, and furry companions are all welcome to participate in this lively and impactful fundraiser.

Registration Information
Your registration not only gets you a spot in this unique 5K but also directly contributes to Eagle Rock Camp, supporting essential programs for military families. All those registering for the Tutus and Combat Boots Walk/Run before April 15 will receive Eagle Rock’s 2024 commemorative t-shirt.
There will be awards recognizing the most creative, cutest, and patriotic tutu/combat boots combination by individuals and teams. Registration prices will be increasing soon! The sooner you register, the most fun per dollar donated you get!
Consider helping stop veteran suicides - there is an average of almost one per hour every day, 22/day - by adding to Go The Extra Mile to your Tutus and Combat Boots 5K Walk/Run registration. By adding $22 to your registration you will be walking/running an extra mile (almost!) doing 22 push ups (more or less) and most importantly you will double your impact on behalf of military families.
Become a Fundraiser for this Event
Do you want to help heal military families and decrease the incidents of suicide among veterans plus score VIP status and special SWAG at the Tutus and Combat Boots 5K? Raise a minimum of $200, and all of that is yours plus we'll refund your registration fee for the event.
We will even help with the fundraising by creating challenges you can use to get your friends and family onboard (while helping you prepare for the Tutus and Combat Boots Walk/Run.
The top three fundraisers for the Tutus and Combat Boots 5K will be recognized at the event and receive some very special SWAG for their efforts. Why not jump into the fray and make that work you are doing to get ready for the big day worth the effort.
About the ERC
Eagle Rock Camp is a family saving, suicide prevention organization that serves our veteran, military, and National Guard families. Military service and multiple, long-term deployments cause severe stress on our families that civilians cannot begin to imagine. Missing holidays, birthdays, events, combined with combat challenges and potential isolation leads to addictions, family abuse, high unemployment, mental/spiritual/moral health issues that cause higher than average divorce rates and double the risk of death by suicide. Eagle Rock Camp does not charge for its week long retreats. It relies on donors to help it deliver healing to the families it serves. Eagle Rock Camp is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded in August 2011 and has received a Platinum Rating from GuideStar.
