PopUp Race #1 - High Point Greenway Boardwalk 5K

A real, in-person, live, and chip-timed race! The High Point Greenway Boardwalk 5K is the first in Junction 311's series of small "PopUp Races" designed to get us ALL  back to racing. Each PopUp Race will have something to make it special, the venue, distance, scoring, or prizes. Something new and different will "PopUp" for each race. The "specialness" of this first race is that it is first! And the course mostly on the High Point Greenway elevated pedestrian path is spectacular!

Your results will be emailed and/or texted to you immediately. Your actual race placement will be available online later in the day once all participants have completed the course.

Each race will meet or exceed all local, state, and CDC guidelines for COVID-19 safety. Currently, no more than 25 runners on-site at any time and at least 6 feet social distancing during any wait times. Runners will have a designated "rolling wave" start window. You will show up, receive your bib, and start within your rolling wave window as soon as you are ready. Once you are done, you will have cold bottled water available and then you will head off for the rest of your day!

Runners are highly recommended to bring their own hydration as there will be no water stops on the course. Water bottles will be available for finishers.
