Description
The GO FAR 5K and Fun Run is a race for the whole family. Register now for this family-friendly event held Saturday, Nov. 5, at Showplace Courtyard, 211 E. Commerce St., High Point. The Fun Run begins at 8:15 a.m. and 5K starts at 9 a.m. GO FAR, a nonprofit running club, teaches children of all abilities about healthy lifestyles, goal setting and how to train for a mile or 5K. Kids not affiliated with a club can register at the event; families are encouraged to join them. Registration will be held the morning of the race 7-8:30 a.m. Cost is $20 for the Fun Run and $40 for the 5K. After the race, enjoy vendors, food and fun.
