On June 7th, We Run Together.

Global Running Day is our holiday; a celebration of the activity we love and the sport that brings our community together. We’re inviting all runners and walkers to join us on June 7th to mark the occasion, set a goal and cross the finish line. We're offering both an in-person and virtual option for 2023! 

The first 200 registered in-person runners/walkers will get a medal, t-shirt, a locopop, and some goodies from our sponsors. We're excited to work with our local and national sponsors for this event!

Packet Pick Up:

• Monday, June 5th - 4 to 7:00pm at Fleet Feet Carrboro
• Tuesday, June 6th - 4 to 7:00pm at Fleet Feet Durham
• Wednesday, June 7th - 10 to 2pm at Fleet Feet 9th Street
• Wednesday, June 7th - 5 to 6 pm in Hillsborough, NC - (we will have a hard stop at 6pm in order to get the race started on time, please plan accordingly).

Kids Run:

We will have a free and family friendly kid run starting at 7:30 pm! We'll do a shorter version of our run (~1/2 mile) and all kids will be given a medal! We'll have a quick check-in before the run around 7:20 near the start/finish line. Family members are encouraged to run with their kids! Thank you!

Parking:

Parking is available in the Hillsborough Public Parking Deck behind the Weaver Street Market (please do not park in the lot in front of Weaver Street Market). You can then walk over to the start line at the Eno River Farmer's Market Pavilion (144 E Margaret Lane). 

Help Us Give Back: Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham will donate $3.10 of each registration to Girls on the Run of the Triangle. Why? Because everyone benefits when we support our kids. At Girls on the Run of the Triangle we aim to inspire ALL girls of ALL abilities and backgrounds to build confidence, develop a positive mental attitude (find joy), and make intentional decisions, while fostering care and compassion for themselves and for others. Our incredible volunteer coaches are trained on how to use fun physical activities and have dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life. With your gift, you are helping a girl unleash her limitless potential. You are giving her a place where she feels accepted and understood, a place where she can connect with her peers, gain confidence, and discover her true power and potential. A place where she belongs.
