Fall 2021 Full & Half Marathon training in Cary & Holly Springs is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs. Each class is 16 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a full or half marathon: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time. All levels and paces are welcome!
The class will include a detailed daily plan over the 16 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, suggested cross-training, strength training, and long run days. The coached group runs are in person, though this class can be done virtually if preferred: all info will be provided on the group run & route ahead of time so that trainees can run separately at another time if they want to.
Cost of the class is $80 if you register by 7/25/21. Registration cost from 7/26 - 8/8 is $85. Registration cost from 8/9 - 8/29 is $95. Deadline to register is 8/29.
Discount Codes: Be sure to use your referral discount codes (if you've referred new runners to our training programs, you'll have received an email with a code) or your race discount code (if you're registered for one of the Holly Springs Half Marathon races in 2021: half marathon, 5K or 10K, you get 10% off your training class registration).
If you have financial difficulty in affording a training class, please contact us. We have a donation program that can help out.
Cost includes: 16-week training schedule, 2 coach-led group workouts per week, email access to the coach throughout the program, 20% off discount at Pace Yourself Run Company (some restrictions apply), training class shirt, in-class/virtual seminars on running-related topics, strength training plan & virtual workout with coach and other trainees, 2 in-person recovery sessions by The Running PTs, and weekly tips and running information from your coach and The Running PTs to supplement your knowledge.
Coach Kelly Svihovec will coach the Cary class and Coach Dave Gross will coach the Holly Springs class.
Program dates: August 1st - November 20th. Group training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30AM for both Cary & Holly Springs. The Cary class will meet at Davis Drive Park (large picnic shelter: 1610 Davis Drive, Apex, NC 27523) and the Holly Springs class will meet at Pace Yourself Run Company (242 S. Main Street, Suite 102, Holly Springs, NC 27540).
